It is a material which can transfer heat through conduction.
Metals are known to be good conductors of heat as well as good conductors of electricity. Diamond is an exception though, being one of the best thermal conductors but a very poor electrical conductor.
The heat will transfer from the hot material to the cold material. Heat tends to go where it is not.
it transfers from heat flow
Heat transfer is the process of increasing the kinetic energy of a material's particles from a material of high temperature to one of lower temperature.
It is a material which can transfer heat through conduction.
Because metal is a good conductor of heat it absorbs heat from material touching its surfaces, and transfer to air.
A material that is a good thermal conductor would hold in a lot of heat. These thermal conductors would also transfer heat easily.

The transfer of heat within a material, I don't know about. But I can help you with the transfer of heat from one material to another. Heat always moves from the warmer material to the colder one. It does this until it reaches equilibrium. this means when both objects have the same amount of heat energy.
Conduction is heat transfer between part of the same material or different material which are adjacent to one another. Convection is heat transfer from one material to another via a medium, such as air or water. Radiation is heat transfer without any medium and through electromagnetic waves, such as between the Sun and the Earth. Evaporation is heat absorption by liquids which then becomes a gas, such as when you boil water or simply leave a cup of water around and it is evaporated after a while.
because thats how the water or weather changes
This is conduction.

Heat Conductivity. The word conductivity may also be used to refer to electrical conductivity, the ability to conduct/transfer electricity. Metals are good at both.
They're both modes of heat transfer via material media.
