Xenon has recently replaced LED lights in flash cameras due to its higher intensity. This intensity creates brighter photographs than the traditional LEDs.
Yes. Most modern cameras use a xenon arc flash lamp.
With older cameras, flashbulbs or flash cubes were used. Then, strobes were developed that used a flash tube. This gave almost limitless flashes. These work by using a battery to charge a capacitor. When the voltage on the capacitor is high enough, it is fed to a xenon (or similar) flash tube, which then fires, giving a very short duration, high intensity flash. It then takes a small amount of time for the capacitor to recharge, before it is ready for the next flash. Some cameras use a dual flash, which has an LED flash as well as a xenon flash.
A xenon flash lamp is a lamp which produces a very short, intense flash of white light, used in photography and photocoagulation.
Xenon
no it does not have and xenon flash ;)
== == It is used specifically in lighting. Xenon can also be used in flash cameras and "high-intensity" lamps for projecting movies. Xenon is also used in instruments to detect radiation. Xenon may be used for medicinal purposes as an "experimental anesthetic". It can also be used in electron tubes, stoboscopic lamps, and bactericidal lamps. It has most recently been used to replace the halogen in the headlights. Xenon was found to be more efficient and brighter. The xenon bulbs are expected to last about 2000 hrs as opposed to the 400hr life expectancy of the normal halogen bulbs.
Xenon is not flammable.
krypton and xenon
Xenon produces a beautiful blue glow when excited by an electrical discharge. Xenon lamps have applications as high-speed electronic flash bulbs used by photographers, sunbed lamps and bactericidal lamps used in food preparation and processing. Xenon lamps are also used in ruby lasers. Xenon difluoride is used to etch silicon microprocessors. Xenon ion propulsion systems are used by satellites.
