Low coolant, failed water pump, thermostat, plugged radiator, inoperative radiator fan, head/head gasket.
Radiator fan inoperative, thermostat stuck closed, coolant low, radiator restriction, etc.

My guess: hot weather causes expansion of the wiring or other electrical contact in the alarm system, creating a short circuit.
check your coolant level
It's likely the thermostat. That's assuming the coolant is full. Thermostat runs $11 for the 3.5.
try changing the cam sensor. this worked for me.
2001 Chevy suburban runs hot because the engine is heated up. There is heavy load coming upon the engine so it gets heated up.
The hood of almost any vehicle will get hot when you have been driving the car and this is normal. Excess heat may mean the engine is running hot.
check belt maybe slipping Be sure the coolant level is full
Either your engine is running hot or the fan switch in the radiator has failed or the relay is stuck.
Sounds like a blown head gasket
