Your blower is on fast because a relay that acts as a reostat that lowers the voltage to the blower depending what setting you put it in has blown out. Replace this relay and all will be well again.
The relay in question is usually called a 'Blower Motor Resistor', is usually easy to replace yourself if you can operate a screwdriver, and usually costs between $15 and $50.
If it will only run on fast, or it won't go on in fast position. It most likely the blower motor resistor. Blower motor is OK because it is running even if it is one speed..replace the resistor. It only coast 20 - 30$
Bad resistor at the blower motor? Bad blower motor switch?
No only the blower.
no it is plastic
the resistor for the blower motor is busted blower works on high with out it
either the blower control switch or the blower motoer needs replacing
The most common cause of the heater blower being on high only is the blower resister failing. The second most common problem is the blower switch going bad.
Blower speed resister is burned out.
The blower motor speed resistor is burned out.
from what i have read it is the blower motor resistor it goes bad and only lets the fan run on high google blower motor resistor and read on
A blower motor that only works on high is normally caused by a defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack. DRL, do not have a clue.
Blower Bentleys were very fast racing cars in the 1920's and 1930's. They were fitted with a blower, or supercharger. This device drove extra fuel into the engine to make the car super-quick.
