I do believe that it will be in a stage of rigamortis and will soon start to go solid. If left for more than three hours there is no chance of reincarnation. If however you lick its left eye within three hours of rigamortis then it shall come back to life.

The fish is frightened and you should probably give it food or let it be and it will get used to the home!!

Or, your fish may be sick. It really depends on the fish. If it was really cheap when you bought it, then you may have your answer.

I think that your goldfish is sick, like the answer above, though I doubt it is frightened. Try doing a water change, just in case the water is making it sick, and feeding it the insides of boiled frozen peas. Peas often cure constipation or even help cure swim bladder disease in goldfish, and it never hurts to feed your goldfish a few veggies. Maybe it is doing that because the water current is so strong from the filter, and it wants to rest. Even changing the position of the filter slightly can greatly improve this. If you're not so sure if the water current is strong or not, hang a button on the end of a string and dangle the button into the water, so you can recognize where the current is too strong for the fish and whether you should change the position of the filter in order to make the goldfish more comfortable. This is all I can suggest for you, and good luck!

He might have problems with his fins. If he's not moving, maybe he's just dieing. A normal fish life span is3 years, which is 90 fish years! Maybe it's just his time. The same thing happened to my beta fish, and he died at almost 4 years. He wasn't moving, then became stiff.

Why is your fish food staying afloat for a week or so?

If your fish food is staying afloat for a week it is most likely because it is just buoyant and you have overfed your fish. Feeding your fish less will reduce fish food staying afloat as well as help keep your fish and tank healthy.

What do you put in the bottom of your fish tank?

How did my fish tank magically clean itself?

I suggest that you learn more about your fish in your aquarium. One of your fish might be a bottom sucker which means that they eat all of the dirt on the side or bottom of your tank. If one of your fish are bottom suckers, that's probably the reason why your aquarium is clean. If none of your fish are bottom suckers, than somebody must be secretly cleaning your tank for you.

Why is my phantom fish staying in one corner is it because it scared because i just bought new molly fish or because its pregnant?

If your fish is pregnant, it would look larger, and there would most likely be little eggs in the bottom of the tank. If your Phantom Fish is a male, and so is your Molly, then most likely the bigger fish is 'the ruler' of the tank. Try putting your phantom fish in a different aquarium, and if it seems happier, keep it there.
