Why is your female mouse regecting her babys 24 hours old?

I have 2 pet mice male and female
the female gave birth to 9 young ones 1of them was eaten by the male so i removed him and the female keeps kicking 2 of the young ones out out of the 2 1 has died they are only 24 hours old
it is her first litter what am i doing wrong
her cage is very clean ,she has fresh water and food and has a play gym and a wheel .
her bedding is fresh wood shaveings and her house has clean facsial tissues that has been shredded so what is the reason for her regecting her young
