Try and replace the blinker switch. Iits a round thing under the dashboard on the fuse panel. It should be clearly marked.
try replaceing the fuse or flasher unit.
How about a malfunctioning brake light switch
It has been my experience that when the blinker comes on but the lights don't blink there is one or more bulbs burned out. If that is not the case check the flasher.

is the other headlamp working? if yes check for dirty contacts and damaged wires have you put the head lamp bulb in correctly have you checked the "faulty" to make sure that it is truly blown?
