If you mean you are losing water, it may be a broken or cracked main drain or possibly your hyrdo-static valve is malfunctioning. One other possibility is a break in the pipe going to the main drain.

How do you use the bottom drain in an in ground pool?

Well, if you mean to drain the pool --- it is not a drain as in house plumbing -- the sink -- the tub. It is connected to the skimmer and that is connected to the pump. When is the best time to drain your pool in Arizona?

In Arizona, it is best to drain your pool in the Winter. You might be wondering, why shouldn't I drain my Arizona pool in the summer? The answer to that is that if you drain your pool during the hot, dry Arizona summer months, you risk causing expensive damage to your swimming pool. The floor of the pool can crack due to the heat and lack of moisture. Draining your Arizona pool in the summer is also bad for the desert environment where water is scarce. The pool water that is drained out will mostly evaporate instead of being used to water the lawn or other plants on the property.

Can you level a pool without draining?

not really you will have to drain most of the water or the sides can give out when you try to move it even a very little movement in a way it was not designed for can cause a side to blow and usually that means the pool needs to be replaced it is easier and cheaper to drain the water and then relevel your pool. good luck

What is the cause of downstairs shower and floor draining backing up?

The main drain is plugged. Not completely, but enough that it is easier for the upstairs water to come out in the shower and floor drain instead of going out the drain.
