The most probable reason is that the fish are not happy. This would indicate that the conditions under which they are being kept is not what they require. Basic requirements for most livebearers are 1 gal of water per 1" of fish. Water temperature around 70F and a pH of around 7. Nitrites 0 Amonium 0. I would be doing a few water changes with good water and try feeding the fish with a good quality tropical fish flake food.
Swordtail is not a mammal, it's a fish although it gives birth. Another example like Swordtail is Guppy. Guppy gives birth but it's a fish.
no it will not but it would attack if it or it's babies are threatened
Yes and no. The x-ray fish, Pristella maxillaris, is a tetra and all tetras lay eggs that hatch into baby fish. They do not have live born baby fish like a guppy, molly or swordtail would.
YES...I HAD A PAIR OF REDSWORDTAILS AND A PAIR OF GUPPIES. MY FEMALE SWORDTAIL DIED...THEN MY MALE GUPPY DIED...LEAVING ONLY MY TWO FISH. IT WASN'T LONG UNTIL MY GUPPY HAD BABIES...AND THEY WERE RED, BUT I DIDN'T GET THEM SEPERATED IN TIME...THEY WERE EATEN. I DIDN'T TRY AFTER THAT TO BREED THEM. THEY SOON DIED AND I DIDN'T GET MORE FISH.
It's a fish.
No, a guppy isn't a reptile. A guppy is a fish.
A Swordtail is a type of fish that has a sword shape on their tail. Males have them but females don't.
There are guppies and mollies.
Tropical fish flakes
A guppy fish is pregnant for about 4 weeks.
Robert John Lechmere Guppy did not invent anything. He is most known for having discovered the guppy fish. The guppy fish is named after him.
