well it has appeared that your turtle is dead. If he isn't in his shell he is homeless and naked and he probably died of embarrassment. Think. If you lost your house and clothing how would you feel. The other turtles probably made fun of him to a point where he committed turtle suicide. If I were you I would be ashamed. Your turtle died for no reason just because you stripped him and forced him to live on the street. Good job you rotten turtle murderer!

There are a couple of things:a snaila turtle
A slow-moving creature with a shell covered in spikes.
The turtle is a reptile. It's unique feature is it's shell. The turtle is attached to it's shell by muscles in it's back. The turtle can "retreat" into its shell when it feels threatened or when danger comes. The shell is built so that, if the attacker turns the turtle upside down, the turtle can turn itself right side up. Turtles are cool that way.
The lower shell of a turtle is called the plastron. It is the protective structure on the underside of the turtle's body, composed of bone and cartilage, and helps provide support and protection for the animal's vital organs.
An alligator could eat a turtle in its shell, and a shark could eat a sea turtle in its shell.
As with any turtle the turtle shell is called CARAPACES.
A sea turtle has an external shell.
If a turtle does not have a shell, it can be both naked and homeless.
i think it would grow with the turtle and then when it is an adult the shell would be fully grown
Well the shell is very helpful when it comes to defense for a predator, it is the turtles home and the turtle is connected to the shell, so the shell grows with the turtle
it protects the turtle from predators.
