Why is your website so slow slow?

It may not be our fault. For example, I had no trouble logging on to the site this evening (my browser is Firefox, my provider is Comcast), and it came up almost instantly, as it does most of the time. But now and then, the site does load slowly-- this can happen as a result of network problems. I don't know what kind of computer you have or whether other sites are also loading slowly, in which case, it might be caused by a problem with your computer.

It isn't slow. Pages are loading in less than three seconds for me.
Unless you have visited the website during a period of maintenance.

Try these steps:

• Clear your cache
• Switch to Chrome or Firefox if you use that awful, sluggish internet Explorer
• Update your browser
• Update your Java and Flash
