take all you have connected to your xbox out unplug everything then take out the harddrive and then connect it all back together it fixes the problem all the time i get that. If not then you can talk to their support at xbox.com/support but it does have to do with your mother board it can be reset by unpluging it all and taking out harddrive.
If it doesnt come on and you have 3 lights flashing you have red light of death
what happend was you xbox overheated and it melted the CPU chip on your board, well didnt melt the chip but the solder around it there for it made soldering bridge connecting by melting 2 different component slots of solder into 1 so you will have to take it apart and resolder it. Or you can send it to Microsoft and they can fix it for ya for some $$$ out of your pocket but mostly they just give you new one and you loose all you data and saves so i did mine my self.

∙ 12y agoThe red flashing lights are a sign of a fault with your console.
You need to give more information than the 360 is flashing red in order to determine the exact fault. How many red lights are there and what corners are they in? If it is 3 red lights, the most common fault, then here is a little explanation:
firstly if you get the 3 red lights then Microsoft reapair your console for free so long as you purchased it no more than 3 years before you send it back for repair. The 3 red lights are a sign of overheating, and to go into more detail this is what happens:
The 360 had a manufacturing fault or the air vents were covered and so the 360 overheated, and got so hot that the solder balls on the CPU or gpu chip melted, and due to the fact the the 360 motherboard is able to flex a little, when the 360 was turned off and cooled down these solder balls solidified again, however they solidified in the wrong place or in two halfs etc. and so the 360 shows the 3 red lights to indicate this fault.

∙ 15y agoIt means it's overheating try putting in an open spot or a cooler spot also try and buy a can of comprest air and blow all the dust out of where the fan is if you can't get a can of it you can use your mouth but make sure to close your eyes And watch out for all the dust

How do you turn on a wireless Guitar Hero?
