Why isn't Ron paul the president?

Ron Paul criticized America and it's citizens. He wanted people to suffer a little in order to help the country overall. People don't want to suffer for their future generation and children. They don't like being criticized because it reminds them how bad they are to their country. Americans didn't listen to JFK's famous line: Don't ask what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country. Ron Paul Could have fixed the economy. But people don't realize this until the end. Next year, if Ron Paul runs, he'll have a bigger chance of winning. Cause Americans are good learners. They have now learned.

Also, the mainstream media has done a great job of blocking Ron Paul from news stories; whoever controls the media controls reality. But unfortunately for the media, Ron Paul has risen anyways with a lead in the 2012 Presidential straw polls of 8 states over all of the other candidates currently running for the Republican nomination.
