Why isn't Shadow the Hedgehog in SSBB?

Because he would be way to much like sonic so to save time they just made him a assist trophy.

Because no one could think of different moves for Shadow. I agree that Shadow should be in the game, but not as a character, but as a color for Sonic. So should Knuckes and Metal Sonic. But Nintendo can only do so much! Besides, Mario and Luigi are actually totally different people. Ever since SSB64 Mario and Luigi have been practically the same people. But then SSBM came out and they differed about half of their moves. But now SSBB is out and they are total different people which is cool! I just wish their final smash was the same but a little different, like Mario's final smash staying the same (only a LOT stronger) and Luigi's being similar to Mario's (only being green fire and going straight like his fire ball and also being very powerful too).So Shadow is an assist trophy and Mario and Luigi are very different now!another reason is there was no time to create a different moveset for shadow.

sonic was already a last minute character miyamoto added and the releasing of the game was already delayed. fans were complaining and if they put shadow in, it would have been delayed even more.those idiots who made brawl should have put shadow in brawl as a playable character also tails and knuckles should be playable in it tooyou should mail them a letter saying that shadow knuckles and tails should be playable in brawl too also your letter should ask why knuckles tails and shadow are not playable in brawl
