Sometimes turtles are just slow and ned some privacy. You should talk to your vet if it continues.
sometime they don't like the food that you give them like when i first got my red eared slider (wild caught) it didn't take to commercial pellets then, i guess it got REALLY hungry and started to eat them on daily bases so it's all about how you provide and whet you provide!!!!!ok?

∙ 15y agoIf your turtle a baby and just got to its tank you should give it a couple days to get used to his envirment. I aslo say u should see a doctor to make sure your turtles healthy. what have u tried to feed your turtle.Always make sure your tank is ok for your turtle to live in !!!!!!!!!!! fruits a turtle can eat: bananas grapes apples (make sure to put in small sizes) veggies: carrots ( remember to shred them) greens treats: cooked chicken worms shrimp food they should always have: turtle pellets fruits and veggies and one snack from time to time

Its because he is hibernating, It may last for a long time, and because the water is too cold. Fit in a filter, and a water heater!

∙ 12y agoThey aré probably sick best advise though is that you taje it to the vetenarian. Unless you aré in New Jersey then you will be in huge trouble. Well hope this helps
