Lack of nutrients in the soil, and lack of ability to hold water- it drains too quickly.
No they will not
Green beans grow better in soil.
In the soil !!!! But beans grow better in cotton
yes that is a good setup. but make sure your sand isnt home or beach sand
the difference grow between soil and sand
Chrysanthemums need well drained soil. So clay is not good. Sand or Miracle Grow as long as the Miracle Grow does not retain water.
Sand.Pure sand has no nutritional value for the plants, so sand and plain peat moss mixture is better--mung beans like pH of 6; although many commercial pot soil mixtures have the right pH, they also have chemical fertilizers in them thus should be avoided. If you want to experiment with sand, try to place some river stones in your pot, and remember, mung beans are warm-water plants and most aren't cold tolerant. Good luck!Source(s):
yes they can grow. i just did an experiment on it. it grew to about 7 centimeters in 4 weeks, with water.
2 2 Go find out yourself. You're so dumb. Big "L' for you loser
You do not have grass because you have sand. Sand does not contain much in the way of nutrients for plants to grow in. And it does not hold moisture well and water drains through it. You will need some good top soil to get grass to grow.
Beans grow better in soil because soil has all the moisture and nutrients. If you use sand, it could be to rocky. Clay will also not be good even though it can keep good moisture it does not have the nutrients like soil.
no because sand does not have nutrients to grow any seed
