well, apparently, your smeargle has to be paired with another smeargle of a different gender or a ditto. If you paired the smeargle with anything else it wont work.
? I dunno raise it. but if you want egg moves vs a pokemon that knows the move you want the smeargle to know sketch the move, run away and breed the smeargle and the baby will know that move if its an egg move
I find that a Smeargle works well when you're trying to teach a Pokemon in the Field egg group several egg moves at once. Get the Smeargle to learn Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, and Drain Punch with Sketch, then breed with a Scrafty or Scraggy. Just remember that the Smeargle has to be male to be able to pass on egg moves. Happy breeding!
They are both eggs moves, and by having a Smeargle as the father with both moves and a mother Eevee, the moves will pass on to the Eevee egg.
Ones Brown and one isnt
YesSmeargle is in an Egg group, or a group of breedable Pokemon, called the Ground egg group. This means that it can breed with any other Pokemon from the ground group. Such Pokemon in this group range from Pikachu, to Nidoran, to Eevee, to Bidoof, with 131 Pokemon in all. So follows is a list of Pokemon in this egg group;http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Category:Ground_group_Pok%C3%A9mon--Smeargle is a great Pokemon to breed 'Egg moves' with. It can learn other rare moves with the use of its move, sketch, which it learns multiple times. Then, if it's male, it can breed some of these moves down to other Pokemon in its egg group.

No, Smeargle is not a Legendary Pokémon.
Smeargle is a Normal type pokemon.
Enter a double-battle with smeargle and a Pokemon with spore. Have that Pokemon use spore and have smeargle use sketch on him/her.
Yes, as long as the sack inside the shell isnt pierced the egg can hatch no problem.
You can find Smeargle in route 212 using the Poke Radar.
