∙ 12y agoI suppose if somebody is attracted to someone else "for being a nerd" or something like that, the person being accused of being nerdy might feel obliged to have more of a nerdy life style to attract the other person, thus changing their behavior. Someone might also be told their "too nerdy" or "not nerdy enough" for example, this will make them change their behavior and sometimes drastically, however change in behavior tends to come from the thought "if I'm more like them, maybe they'll like me more".
