Why live in the South of England?

The South of England was probably populated more in the past because of its relatively good climate and suitable agricultural land.

Now people are attracted because it's already well populated. London and the surrounding area is the centre politically and economically. Out of London there are more large towns than the North and people tend to move to big towns and cities
