Probably because just to decrease the ammount of forest loss in rainforests and that the bark (and maybe tree trunks and branches) is really thin compared to a taiga forest but there is still a lot of lumbering going on and rainforest are continuing to become deforested
In the taiga the main human activities are lumbering(woodcutting) , fur trapping and salmon fishing.
Yes,there are some eagles in a taiga forest I beleive.
Taiga or Boreal forests
Temperate forests typically have more diverse tree species and experience a wider range of temperatures compared to taiga forests, which are dominated by coniferous trees and have colder temperatures. Taiga forests are also found at higher latitudes than temperate forests.
The dominant vegetation in the taiga are Coniferous forests. (Coniferous Trees)

Taiga
The biome name is spelled taiga, or coniferous forests.
No, there is no taiga in Toronto, Canada. Taiga, or boreal forest, is typically found in northern regions characterized by coniferous forests and colder climates. Toronto, located in southern Ontario, has a humid continental climate and is primarily covered by deciduous forests. While the surrounding areas of Ontario do have some coniferous forests, they do not qualify as true taiga.
Taiga is a certain type of forest. Taiga is characterized by Pinophyta division grouped in coniferous forests that mainly has spruces, pines and larches.
