It might have run out of gas.
Hey Marvin===It is probably the idle speed control on the throtle body. Take it off and clean it. GoodluckJoe
I have a 2003 Altima that while traveling under 35 mph might shut down. Nissan says it is the crank shaft angle sensor thingy. Nissan will repair for $215.00 or your local mech. will do it for $191.00...KNOWN problem but no recall!
Speed sensor might need replacing. Does the check engine light come on when driving?
it might be behind the catalatic converter. if not there than it might be with the other one
17 inch rims on a 98 Nissan AltimaYes you can put 17' rims on a 1998 Nissan Altima. The tire size which works best on both axels is 215/45, But based on the body size of the 98 Altima, you might want to go with 18 inch rims.
it might... but you would want to contact your dealer just to be sure.
You might be able to physically install it, but the other components may not be optimal.
no. even tho they might use the same QR25DE engine their still different that's why you can find a turbo for a sentra and not a altima its the same block pretty much but headers n trans are different.
your head might be going out

Have you checked the air filter? Clear the codes using the method described in the owners manual, drive the vehicle and see what codes come back. The air flow sensor can be acting up because the air filter or air supply is restricted.
