Uncircumcised males can have serious problems with their foreskins and not be able to pull them back to wash. When a male is circumcised, it's easier to keep clean and they'll have fewer problems.

Has anyone had a surgery to your eye called vitrectomy and a scleral buckle?

Advantages of Vitrectomy There are a few advantages to vitrectomy for repair of a retinal detachment. There is no worry about becoming more near-sighted as there is no scleral buckle placed. Similarly, there is no chance of causing double vision as there is no manipulation of the eye muscles as in the case of a scleral buckle. Basically, for the patient, there is less operating outside the eye. Discomfort ( doctor-speak for pain) is minimized. There is, however, the chance of infection, as there is with any intraocular surgery, that can lead to blindness. Endophthalmitis, the fancy clinical term for this type of infection, is less common in retinal surgery than cataract surgery. The chance of infection occurring is small, somewhere around 1:5,000-10,000.

What would happen without your mucus?

Without mucus, your non-skin surfaces would dry out (and those cells would die), less dust would be trapped on the way to your lungs and so the incidence of infection would increase.

Can other things cause pelvic inflammatory disease besides sexual contact?

You are more likely to get PID if you: * have had an STD * are under 25 and are having sex * have more than one sex partner * douche. Douching can push germs into the womb, ovaries, and tubes, causing infection. Douching can also hide the signs of an infection. * have an intrauterine device (IUD). You're less likely to get PID if you're tested and treated for any infections before getting an IUD.

How long can an uncut penis last in bed?

Being circumcised or uncircumcised does not play a role in how long a man lasts in bed. The differences are that an uncircumcised penis is more sensitive, causing more pleasure for the woman. However it's easier for infections to develop. A circumcised penis has less chance of developing infections but is less sensitive hence causing less pleasure for a woman.
