If you are already a parent you just assume you can reproduce again - not necessarily! There are many reasons, even assuming that you are trying with the same person who fathered the previous child (obv. if u have a new partner they may have trouble reproducing) Our bodies change as we get older. Exposure to eostrogen in today's environment can cause a man's sperm level to drop as can other factors such as tight underwear. Birth and or abortion can damage a woman's reproductive organs. Females of any age whether parents or childless can develop hormonal imbalances usually temporary and treatable such as progesterone deficiency which can cause sub-fertility and early miscarriage. After the age of 36 a woman's ability to conceive drops dramatically. My advice would be to get yourself and your partner tested by a gynaecologist as the reasons are so varied. Also to be safe a check up is wise as stds such as chlamydia can lead to sterility if untreated. Meanwhile you could try an ovulation test kit to see if you are producing eggs and if not or in doubt take an online hormonal imbalance questionairre to check progesterone levels and if low try using natural progesterone cream of good repute such as natpro or wellsprings serenity - HRT seems extreme,I know, but with high eostrogen levels found in tapwater, beef and even plastics these days hormone levels in the Western World are no longer natural. In the US girls as young as 6 are menstruating and women are becoming peri-menopausal in their early 30s!! Scary stuff but again treatable if caught. All the best hope you hear that patter of feet soon! Best Wishes, Gillian xxx
There are two possible explanations. Not all disorders are genetic; for example, the baby might have an infection, might be malnourished, might be injured. Secondly, the baby actually might have a genetic disorder, because the genetics of a baby are not identical to either of the parents, being inherited from both of them. If both parents have a recessive gene, that gene might not be expressed in either parent but could still be expressed in their baby.
You could possibly get a job helping around the house, and get allowance from your parents. You might be able to get a job baby sitting.
