The Nazism became popular due to the worldview that "Homosexuals, Specially Challenged People, Gypsies, and the most, Jews, enemies of our (Germany) Motherland and we should throw them out of germany". Hitler (leader of Nazi party) also came up with the well-known saying: HAIL HITLER! HAIL NAZI GERMANY! he spread the saying "Support the Hitler Youth." He drafted 12-16 year old as morale bands or child soldiers. His reign lifted each victory.
1- Humiliating treaty of Versailles
2- Economic crisis of 1929
3- spread of communism
4- German's no faith in Germany
5- making the best party strife
6- personality of Hitler
At first, the Nazi Party was only popular with hardcore racists and right-wing extremists. A lot of the early members were disaffected soldiers from World War I, who were upset at how the war ended. Germany had a long history of antisemitism at that time, so the Nazi Party was just another antisemitic party- nothing particularly special in that regard.
After Adolf Hitler took control of the Party, he started doing everything he could to attract more followers. He would go out and make speeches proclaiming how he wanted to help the workers and common people, all while making backdoor deals with wealthy industrialists. When economic crises hit, especially the Great Depression in 1929, the Nazis appeared to be a viable alternative to the parties in the Reichstag (the federal legislature). They promised to end the corruption of other parties, to get rid of Jews who had ruined everything, and to restore German national pride after the humiliation of the Versailles treaty.
The Nazis were able to take advantage, and by 1930, they were the second largest party in the Reichstag, with about 30% of the seats. In 1932, they had grown to the largest party, with about 35% of the seats- Hitler thought he was popular enough to run for president, but he was wrong, and lost the election. In 1933, he was able to use his popularity to convince other right-wing parties to support his bid for power- they convinced the president to appoint Hitler as the new chancellor, which he did.
Hitler, as the new chancellor, abused his position and influenced the next election- which saw him only get about 46% of the vote. But with his right-wing allies helping him, he was able to amend the constitution to make himself dictator. As dictator, Hitler was able to ban other political parties and ideologies, and he used powerful police and Propaganda agencies to force Germans to agree with him. Additionally, for almost a decade after taking power, Hitler was remarkably successful. He seemed to be helping fix the economy, and he began aggressively ignoring the much-hated Versailles treaty. Germans were generally happy with his government, despite the repression and racism- until war and ruin ended all of that.

Nazism is the name given specifically to the regime of Adolf Hitler in Germany from 1933-45. Thus, when Hitler died, so did Nazism. Neo-Nazism, a term used to describe a new wave of people who agree with Hitler's policies, has believers all over the world, but no regime, whether Nazi or Neo-Nazi, currently exists.
