When we bring a positively charged body towards an neutral body(without touching it), the side of the neutral body which is near the positively charged body gets negatively charged by induction. As the oppositely charged bodies attract each other, the neutral body(temporarily charged by induction) would get attracted to the positively charged body.

Why will electrons moved from negatively charge body?

Electrons are negatively charged. Opposites attract, so they are attracted to positively charged bodies.

Why do some charged objects pull each other while other charged objects push each other?

The charged object may induce a separation of charges in the neutral object. The charged object may induce a separation of charges in the neutral object. The charged object may induce a separation of charges in the neutral object. The charged object may induce a separation of charges in the neutral object.

If a metal object receives a positive chargedoes the mass of the object increasedecreaseor stay the same?

Object A is charged . Because the neutral objects do not repel or attract charged bodies..

If two positively charged bodies are placed close to each other will they attract or repel one another?

They will repel each other. Like charges repel; unlike charges attract.

What happens when two positively charged bodies are touched?

they repel

Can two positively charged body attract each other?

yes--consider two charged bodies (having positive charge). One body is very large in comparison to the other. The large body will induce opposite charge in the small body and thus both will attract each other

Who is The scientist that defined the nature of the electrical force between two charged bodies?

Charles-Augustin de Coulomb of "the coulombic force" that attract or repels oppositely or similarly charged bodies, respectively.

How do charged objects attract neutral objects?

Some neutral objects have a weak dipole force where electron distribution is random across the whole object, and at any one given time, one side may be slightly more positive than the other. This attraction is very weak but it happens frequently especially in solutions.

Which type of bond does the phrase opposites attract apply to best?

The ionic bond. This involves ions of opposite charge. Eelectrostatically charged bodies with opposite charges, + and -, attract one another.

How can you show that like charges repel while unlike charges attract each other?

When two bodies charged in similar manner (i.e. like charges) are brought near, they will repel .Whereas when two bodies of different materials charged in different manner(i.e.unlike charges) or one charged & one uncharged body brought near will attract. This is how we can show that like charges repel while unlike charges attract each other.

A shortage of electrons on surfaces create what kind of charge?

A shortage of electrons on the surface create positive charge. Because aall bodies in nature remains electrically neutral. But we know that electrons are negatively charged particles. It means if there is deficiency of electrons at any surface there would be positive charge. Which means electrons are less than protons which are positively charged particles and hence causes positive charge on surface.
