2 possibilities:
First (and most likely) consider that you might have a faulty dual heater valve. That dual heater valve allows the user to have 2 temperature zones in the car interior, that is, it is a dual heater control. Those things go out. They are kind of expensive.
Second thing I would check is the heater core... maybe you got a leak there. Heater cores are hard to get to, to replace.
