In certain regions, they do. It is recycled from the sewers.

Answer:

Digested sewage is used as a fertilizer in many rural areas. This treatment kills all the pathogens (disease causing organisms) in the sewage and some of the smell. Unfortunately yjr sewage can contain toxics and heavy metals that make crops unhealthy.

Raw human sewage contains a number of disease causing organisms that can infect farm workers and be present in food grown in the sewage.

There is also a squeamishness of people to eat food grown in sewage.

let us have some more info..!

New and modern age have invented that it's save to do this process. It cantains many disease, but they are trying to prevent it.Discovery channel informed that they are collecting human manure and try to have better plants and harmless food without any toxic. They are going to dry it and have some heating process.
