Mother Nature created us this way. We are drawn or attracted or addicted to those things which improved our chances of survival - back in the day (when we were cave men and cave woman). However, back then we had to struggle to get sugar, fat, sex, drugs and rock&roll and all those good things. Today it's easy as pie and so we are easily addicted in an unhealthy way to these sort of things. Today we have to struggle to overcome these addictions, and when we do, we will grow up.
It's can be addictive, which is dangerous if you have a history of drug abuse, or any sign of an addictive personality.
Based on his addictive personality... No.
Non-addictive. Some people claim that it is, however those people don't understand the difference between wanting something and needing something.
Some people might find it addictive
There are physical and mental dynamics of an addictive personality that scientists have been watching: heritability, neurotransmitters and sensation seeking needs are some biological factors and impulsivity, value on nonconformity, sense of social alienation and tolerance for deviance and heightened stress and lack of coping skills are typical personality traits.
Someone that is constantly doing the same things or mistakes over and over.
The phrase 'addictive personality' refers to a set of personality traits that may make an individual more susceptible to developing addictions or engaging in compulsive behaviors. These traits often include impulsivity, sensation-seeking, and a tendency towards risky behaviors. It does not mean that someone is inherently destined to become addicted, but rather that they may be more vulnerable to addiction under certain circumstances.
An addictive personality refers to a set of traits or characteristics that may make an individual more susceptible to developing addictions. These traits can include impulsivity, an inability to cope with stress, sensation-seeking behavior, and difficulty regulating emotions. It's important to note that not everyone with these traits will develop an addiction, but they may be more at risk.
It could. It depends on the person. Some people have addictive personalities -- they can't do any drug without getting addicted to it. Others have this addictive personality to a certain extent, and tend to drink or do drugs to excess, but are able to keep themselves from becoming full-blown addicts. And others do not have this addictive personality at all, and are able to do drugs, even hard drugs like cocaine or heroin, only a little bit, once in awhile.
Because both are highly addictive in some people. It depends on the individual. Some can go through rehab and come out the other end a stronger person and never do drugs or touch another drop of alcohol, but others have an addictive personality and although they really try hard they often will fall back into old habits. When I see people messed up on drugs or alcohol I often wonder what terrible things they may have gone through to make them this way. Is it simply an addictive personality or they are deadening a pain deep within. I feel it's both.
i guess it depends on personality, if you have an addictive personality and obsess over a lot of things then you are likely to become an addict however, if you are the kind of person who does something then doesn't even look back or think about it, you are less likely to become an addict.
Absolutely NOT, a person can council in any given field, that does not mean that they know nothing about it just because they themselves have not fallen into that trap ofaddiction. Not everyone has an addictive personality, these are just the people who can help and be of service to the addict. maybe u should do research theres no such thing as addictive personality and i think that anybody can be a counselor if they have the drive and motivation in recovery or not
