From a strictly quantitative perspective, computers are better for two reasons.
1. They're fast. Much faster than humans. They can count things faster than we can see them.
2. They don't make mistakes. Human error is common; how often do we fail to carry the ten or just plain make a mistake in addition? Computers don't make those kinds of mistakes... ever. If the computer is designed properly, internal parity checking makes certain that the computer will shut down before it makes a mistake.
3. Everything the computer does is repeatable. It will do the same thing, the same way, every time.
It's all about the internal circuitry; switches, gates, registers, memory... all descriptions of electrical devices that perform their function the same way every time.
Computer is used without complaining, while human is be tired lazy.
No, an input device is something that carries data into something. In this case, the processor. This incoming information doesn't have to be analog information coming from a human, but it sometimes is. (E.G. a computer mouse, a computer keyboard) It also could be another electronic device interacting with the computer. (E.G. a flash drive, a phone, an mp3 player). For a better way of understanding this, here is how input and output work: Input -> Processor -> Output Keyboard -> Computer -> Monitor
Many times the human brain has been compared to the computer as a data processor with the human brain coming out on top but the importance of computers in our lives are undeniable. There are still many ways in which the computer is better than the human brain, including speed, accuracy and versatility, giving computers a myriad of very vital applications in modern living.'
Computer Power and Human Reason was written by Joseph Weizenbaum, a computer scientist and computer-aided psychoanalyst. The book criticizes the over-reliance on advanced technology and advocates for humanistic values in the use of computers.
Sales force automation is widely used, and if the right software is used, better than before. Computer glitches are the only reason that humans may be better. Sales force automation has taken out the human error.
actually they are better!!! the computer can do only what you have programmed it to do , and if you programmed it wrong , then it will give wrong answers! no human will not know what 1+1 equals, but a computer may give you an answer like -8!!!
Anytime..anyday humans are better than computers because its human who made computers and not vice-versa. so result is clear humans are better
we can interrupt with human teacher whereas it is not possible with a computer teacher
A computer is not human, a human is no computer. There is no "human computer." You cannot play against a human computer thus.
The computer is better than human beings in data processing because computers are faster, more accurate and have way higher storage capacity than the human brain. Also, computers don't grow tired or bored even if made to perform repetitive tasks.
Human brain, computer can only be programmed to perform the brain can think for itself and be trained to be faster than any computer. It was somebodys brain that invented the computer so it's quite obvious really, not to mention the only reason numbers exist is because we thought them up and the computer cannot do the things that human can do!!!
Who said that a computer is more efficient than a human being ? Can a computer reason, think, consider. These are some of the human qualities that a computer will never be able to achieve regardless of future technologies. This is in my humble opinion of course. I am feeling tired now and cannot type anymore and will have to recharge my human batteries
Pat does not want to marry the narrator because the narrator is a computer and Pat is a human.
