Energy is lost ascending each trophic level of the pyramid of energy. Therefore, when quaternary consumers eat tertiary consumers, most of the energy stored in the tertiary consumers' bodies is lost and only 10-15% is passed on to the quaternary consumers. Quaternary consumers, meanwhile, occupy the top position in the pyramid of energy because nothing preys upon them in turn.

A consumer is a living organism that cannot synthesize energy from the sun. Therefore, consumers get energy by eating other organisms. There are many levels of consumers that make up the food web. These can include primary consumers, secondary consumers, tertiary consumers, and sometimes quaternary consumers. Primary consumers are herbivores (they can only consume autotrophs). As energy travels from autotrophs to quaternary consumers, much of the energy is used by organisms or (primarily) dissipated as heat. Therefore, there are less quaternary consumers than autotrophs because quaternary consumers cannot get as much energy.
A severe drought in a grassland will reduce the number of consumers in the entire energy pyramid Why?
They are the consumers.
The coral reef energy pyramid is the same as any other ecosystem energy pyramid. There are producers and primary, secondary, and tertiary consumers.
from top to bottom of the pyramid: tertiary consumers... and so on. secondary consumers (carnivores) primary consumers (herbivores) primary producers (like grass)

Energy pyramid
Energy Pyramid
Primary Consumers

no
Tertiary Consumers and Secondary carnivores
They are the consumers.
because they give energy to consumers and all others in the energy pyramid
The coral reef energy pyramid is the same as any other ecosystem energy pyramid. There are producers and primary, secondary, and tertiary consumers.
Its just give Energy to consumers ,
The last level of the energy pyramid...secondary,tertiary...
