Your question is vague. There are a lot of questions about the role of women during the World Wars and in each decade of the past century. People ask about those roles because women's roles have changed over the last century. If you told someone from 1910, one hundred years ago, that women today would own and run Fortune 500 companies, serve in the Military on aircraft carriers, work as surgeons, fight fires, clean up oil spills in the oceans, have careers and families they would not have believed you because it was taboo for women to do that according to men. They did not like women's suffrage and Women's Lib. They still don't like it because they don't want to have equal pay for equal work. There is now a bill that President Obama will sign that will do something about that problem.
