I think that modern inventions make people lazy because they make everything easier.
The car, for instance, allows people to travel long distances without having any physical strain on their body. The television is something that people sit in front of for hours on end until they have made an imprint of their butt on their couch and 7 hours a day of channel 35 is second nature. The fact that people can now watch TV shows in high definition and record, pause, rewind, or fast forward through their favorite programs isn't helping.
Video Games also play a large part in laziness. For some people, video games can be just as addictive as drugs. I recently dealt with a customer at GameStop that sold every single one of his games, and mentioned selling some of his articles of clothing, just so he could pay for his subscription to World of Warcraft. People have adapted to making the simple things simpler, and forms of entertainment such as participation in sports seems far fetched to many.
But modern technology also shares the blame with work. People have little free time in recent years because most of us spend most that time working. Such a dedication for the next paycheck brings more work home. when the work is finished, the only thing people want to do is lazily relax. Fast food restaurants are used more frequently to fit into a busy schedule, and exercise is a painful thought for many who just returned home from a long day.

Modern inventions are designed to make tasks easier and more convenient, leading to a decrease in physical activity and movement. Technology such as smartphones and other gadgets encourages sedentary behaviors like sitting for long periods, which can contribute to a more sedentary lifestyle. However, it ultimately depends on how individuals choose to use these inventions.
Yes, everyone wants to depend on some kind of electronic to do work for them.
depends what type of technology it is
disliking work and physical activity and never making any effort He's just a lazy man with no job and no desire to find one. Bill is too lazy to cook for himself so when his wife is out of town, he goes to McDonalds.
This phrase suggests that laziness can manifest in the form of mental inertia or lack of motivation, not just physical inactivity. It implies that some people may be inactive and unproductive not only physically, but also mentally and intellectually.
The opposite of lazy is industrious or diligent.
As lazy as a couch potato.
A person who is too lazy to work is often referred to as "lazy" or "unmotivated." They may also be described as "unemployed" if they are not actively seeking or holding a job due to laziness.

The Shang writing system is logographic, where each character represents a word or concept, while the modern alphabet is phonetic, with symbols representing individual sounds. Shang writing used a combination of pictograms and logograms, while the modern alphabet is based on letters that represent sounds in a linear sequence. Additionally, the Shang writing system was primarily used on oracle bones for divination, while our modern alphabet is used for a wide range of languages and purposes.
