Ring Main Unit. Ring main unit is used in a secondary distribution system. It is basically used for an uninterrupted power supply. Alongside, it also protects your secondary side transformer from the occasional transient currents.
Parallel for main circuits and series parallel for lighting circuits.
The sympathetic nervous system can be classified as adrenergic, based on the main neurotransmitters used.
a support ring is used to hold big objects.
It really is called ring stand. This is usually used with a ring clamp and bunsen burner.
Ring main distribution system allow compresssed air to converge from two directions. So this reduces pressure drop and mades changes to the system easier.
Quad ring main unit (QRM) is used to connect 2 no. transformers at their high voltage side to the distribution system.

An 'RMU' is a 'ring-main unit', a type of switchgear used to connect distribution transformers to an underground, secondary-distribution (11 kV in the UK), cable ring-main system. It enables the transformer to be disconnected from the ring main, and it also enables the ring main itself to be 'split' where the RMU is installed. Each of the three switches within an RMU usually incorporates an 'earth' (ground) position, which will enable either the transformer itself, or the ring main to be earthed for safety reasons before any maintenance work can proceed.
A ring-main unit is a piece of switchgear used on high-voltage distribution ring-main systems (e.g. in the UK at 11 kV). Essentially, it's three switches incorporated into one device used to connect a transformer to a high-voltage ring main. It allows the transformer to be connected/disconnected to the ring main and it also allows the ring main to be 'broken'. Each of the switches has three positions: open, closed, or earthed (grounded); the earth position allows the transformer or either (or both) halves of the ring main to be earthed when maintenance is required.
Power transformers are step-up or step-down transformers used in the electricity transmission system, whereas distribution transformers are step-down transformers used in the electricity distribution system.
A standard piece of switchgear in distribution systems comprising of switches for switching power cable rings and of switches in series with fuses for the protection of distrbution transformers. RMU: Ring Main Unit. RMU used for H.T.side. RMU is having 3no.s of switches(Circuit Breakers or Isolators or LBS), it is used for two inputs with mechanical or electrical interlock and one outgoing to the load. Either one input with two outgoings. RMU used for redundancy feeder's purpose. Ring main unit is used in a secondary distribution system. It is basically used for an uninterrupted power supply. Alongside, it also protects your secondary side transformer from the occasional transient currents. Depending on your applications and loading conditons you can use a swicth fuse combination or a circuit breaker to protect the transformer. This transformer connected to the switch fuse/ circuit breaker is called your T off. In a common arrangement you have Load break swicthes on both the sides of your T off. Ring main Units come in standard ratings of 11/22/33 kV, 630/1250 A, 21 KA/3 secs.
The rising mains are essentially used in electrical distribution system in buildings two storied and above. It is basically used in indoor applications. Nowadays vertical type distribution is normally used as it is more convenient and reliable compared to rising cable system.

A '33-kV transformer' is a three-phase primary-distribution transformer, used in the UK's electricity system to step down the 33-kV primary-distribution voltage to the 11-kV secondary-distribution voltage -the lowest voltage used in the high-voltage distribution system. These transformers are categorised as 'power transformers', and are located in what are termed 'primary substations'.
