He did not plan to kill him, but he planned to kill renesmee. After he imprinted, Sam was unable to kill her because it is the werewolf law that you cant kill an imprinter's imprintee.
Sam did not kill Jacob because he realized that revenge would not bring him peace or closure. Instead, Sam chose to forgive Jacob and focus on healing from the pain and anger. Forgiveness allowed Sam to let go of the desire for vengeance and move forward with his life.
Samuel Jacob goes by Sam-Jacob, Sammy, and Sam.
Jacob broke away from the pack because he thought that Sam was trying to abuse his alpha powers. Sam wanted to kill Bella and Jacob would have none of it. He left. ____ I submit that there is more to it than that. :-) Jacob broke away from the pack by accepting his birth right. As the descendant of Ephraim Black, it was he, not Sam Uley, who was meant to lead the wolves of La Push. This did not 'demote' Sam Uley (because Jacob did not then take his place as Alpha); this merely meant Jacob no longer recognized Sam as his superior. In essence, Jacob made himself a 'lone wolf'. In addition to this, he left the pack to go back to the Cullens and warn them of Sam's intention to attack and destroy the aberration growing in Bella's womb (Renesmee). By accepting his birth right, he broke Sam's control over him and invoked the ability to make his own choices and honor his own allegiances. He chose to side with the Cullens (or rather, with Bella).
No, Jacob does not kill Edward.
Bella and Sam or Sam and Quil
In "New Moon", there are two werewolves: Jacob Black and Sam Uley. Sam leads the werewolf pack in La Push.
No, Sam Uley does not turn Jacob into a wolf. Jacob transforms into a werewolf due to his Quileute heritage and the presence of vampires in the area, triggering his transformation. Sam is the Alpha of the pack and an important figure in guiding the werewolves.
In the epilogue of Eclipse, Jacob and Leah are talking about Bella. Jacob is worried that Edward will kill Bella instead of changing her into a vampire. Jacob gets a weeding invitation from Edward. He gets really mad and runs away as a wolf. The other members of the pack are sad to see him go but Sam convinces them to leave Jacob alone.
Sam is the Alfa through-out Twilight to the starting of Breaking Dawn. But Jacob, the blood born pack leader, rebels from Sam when he descides to kill Bella and her baby. He becomes his own pack with Seth and Leah.
sam is the leader of the werewolf pack that Jacob is in. Later in the book, breaking dawn, Jacob seperates from the pack and starts his own pack
Sam is the Alpha, yes, but Jacob is the one truelysupposed to be the Alpha. He's the one with the most direct lineage. Sam just changed first and Jacob didn't want the responsibility so he let Sam have it.
I think Sam is stronger, because first of all he is bigger and the breaking dawn part 1 movie made me think that Sam didn't disagree with Jacob anymore cause' he thinks he is his family.
He broke away from the pack and as he was the rightful leader of the pack (he gave the status to Sam) and made his own one wolf pack but others joined him (Seth and Leah). Hope that helps! :)
