This is a very good question. Most of the infections are viral infections and they do not need any antibiotic. Secondly most of the bacterial infections are mild and they also do not need antibiotic. Thirdly the dose, duration and selection of antibiotic needs a wise judgement. Which you can not decide. Forth reason is injudiciuos use of antibiotic can lead to emergence of antibiotics resistant bacteria. As you have in case of ndm 1 or superbug in your hand. This generation is responsible to the welfare of the coming generations. So in short the antibiotics should not be taken without the prescription of the qualified doctor.

Mainly because antibitiotics develop tolerance when used without a strong necessity. This means that the bacteria becomes stronger and that antibiotic makes no the desired effect anymore.

If you take an antibiotic without a doctor's prescription, it could create antibiotic resistance in the bacteria that are naturally in your body.

Antibiotics should be taken on the advice of the doctors because they can destroy the useful bacteria(intestinal bacteria) and can upset the stomach.

Can you take phentermine while taking exemestane?

You should not be self medicating. Your medicines should be prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner (a doctor) who, having examined you, knows what is wrong with you and what medicines you need to make you better. The doctor will know which medicines are safe to use together. If you take antibiotics when they are not needed, you effectively contribute to these medicines becoming ineffective for everyone in the future, don't do it!.
