No. Children should have a set bed time, so that they regain their energy for the next day. If they don't do this, then they may develop bad sleeping disorders. They will also be more defiant in later years.
Children should not go to bed when they want. Have a set time (Allow a little "wiggle room" too, for say 9-9:10) Make sure you correspond the time with the age. Older children (13, etc) Can go to sleep later than a 6 year old. Etc.
They shouldn't. The parents should give them structure by having the same bed time, at least on all school nights, to help ensure they are getting enough sleep and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

No. Children should sleep in their own bed.
Bed wetting is a common side effect from general anesthetic in children. The effect should subside in 2-3 days.
Infants and small children should never be left unattended on a feather bed.
if they are young and go to bed early then yes, but if they are older and have their own homework to get on with then no
this is completely up to you . Many children have different bed times as they get older. i would said between 8 or 9pm only because they need a good nights sleep and be well rested to wake up in the morning.
