Homework is to help the kids learn the material better so that they can do better in school
Check your School website and it should say what you have to do on your teachers blogs.
easy... homework... i should know IM IN ELEM. SCHOOL! Duhhh homework EASY
I see no harm in doing this at the elementary school level. It ensures that yes, the child did sit down and do their homework.
They had school so they should respectivily have homework. i highly doubt it! Well then elaborate Izzystar11 I highly doubt the teachers finished everything in class.
Elementary School and Junior High are different for quite a few reasons. Such as, 1. In lots of Junior High's, more homework. 2. Unlike in Elementary School, you switch classes, so you have more teachers, that explains number 1. 3. Much more freedom. 4. In many Junior High's instead of daily homework, you have lots of projects. 5. Lots of teacher's don't suger coat things in Junior High like they did in Elementary School. 6. Teachers expect more from you now because you are older and more mature. I mentioned quite a few negative things above, don't worry though, there ARE positives!
It would be nice, but the school would have to have money to hire extra teachers to have those periods.
Most elementary teachers assign a reasonable level of homework based on their students' level. Sometimes, students have been "spoiled" by prior teachers not assigning enough homework. Other times, a particular student may not quite be on grade level, and may struggle with the appropriate amount of homework. On rare occasions, a teacher may mistakenly assign more than their students can handle. In this case, a group of parents should approach the teacher about unrealistic expectations. If this is unsuccessful, the parents should go to the principal.
Elementary School should not end late because the children's schedule affects a lot of other people, including teachers, administrators, parents, and siblings. If their schedule is extended, then a lot of people are affected negatively, not just the children.
It would probably be a good idea, but the schools would have to have money to hire extra teachers so they could do it.
That depends on the teacher. Some teachers do, and some just let you flunk the class because you didn't do the work.
I usually spend 3-4 hours a night on homework. Sometimes when my teachers aren't feeling very nice, we get 10 hours. My mom has found me up at 4 A.M. before, doing homework. Hope this helps, CrazyGenie
Yes because us kids and adults need more time away from school and teachers or children so with more summer vacation we can relax have fun and not have homework!
