∙ 11y agoIt is often the case that if a person has a serious injury or sudden illness such as a heart attack, they may not live long enough to get to a hospital for the medical care that they need, but if they can get some help from a person trained in first aid, they may be able to survive long enough to receive medical care from actual doctors. Many lives have been saved by first aid.
