radiators should be black because black not only absorbs heat, it also gives out a lot of heat as well.
If you think this is wrong or I have no proof please see the question
how do you make an experiment up of "looking at heat absorbsion and reflection"
You can paint the radiator tanks any color you want to but don't paint the radiator core itself. Painting the core will negatively affect the radiators ability to transfer heat away from the engine coolant.
There are several types of radiators including panel radiators, convector radiators, column radiators, and electric radiators. Each type has its own design and heating capabilities to suit different needs and preferences.
The color black neturally magnifies heat.
I don't believe that it does. If this is true, it could be that black is a natural color for the sort of material (cast iron) that radiators are likely to be made of, while a white radiator probably has an insulating layer of paint on it.
Radiators were first invented in the mid-19th century, with the first patents being filed in the 1850s. They were initially used for heating buildings and homes before evolving into the modern heating systems we see today.
Most car radiators are black as black radiates heat more efficiently than any other color.

Radiators do not actually radiate heat, they should actually be called convectors. example 1: a nuclear turbine radiates example 2: my pants radiate

The only Rancheros that used the Falcon chassis was the 1960-66 models. The radiators those years should be identical, if the engines were the same.

I assume that you are referring to hot water radiators, heated by an oil furnace. These radiators could have air in them and will not allow the hot water to fill them and give off any heat. If these are connected to the same hot water line that feeds the other working radiators, the in and out lines and the bottom on the cold ones should be hot. These radiators will then have to have the air bled out of them. They should have a valve on the top somewhere to do this. If there is no heat in the lines there must be separate line to that room that is plugged or shut off.
