in my opinion i think teachers give way to much homework for a student to handle. There also comes a time when i think that teachers do this to students to prepare for the future at hand. Also, i play softball so i think that they should give students less homework in one day and give it another day.

Most young people normally find it easy to learn the kind of things they need to know on a daily basis such as how to brush teeth and tie shoe laces, but do not usually easily learn the kind of abstract academic facts they are forced to study at school such as the names, dates and places of obscure, historical events. In other words, teachers should probably not be paid according to how much students learn not only because it is hard to actually learn school facts, but because it is hard to reliably measure how much student learn and would cause problems if you tried.
