It Should be banned because the amount of ships and planes is adding to air polution which is adding to global warming which is increasing the risk of the ice caps melting and the whole world being flooded!
For one thing tourists bring lots and lots of rubbish with them and some of them are to lazy to bring a bin bag with them so they drop the rubbish on the ground. That is littering, and some animals might get confused if rubbish is food so they eat it and die. Lets think about all the animals on Antarctica such as the Adele penguins.
there wouldn't be any tourists in Antarctica
well im not a genius but Antarctica doesn't have a government so you cant get banned but if you're a threat to the ecosystem you might get banned by the ecologist working down there

Tourism is the 'main cause' of visits to Antarctica.
Yes, tourism to Antarctica is a profitable industry.
Coal mining is banned in Antarctica because it was very bad for the environment. The Madrid Protocol was an agreement by all countries not to mine coal in Antarctica.
Yes.
Whaling is banned by the Antarctic Treaty, south of 60 degrees S. This includes the Southern Ocean that surrounds Antarctica.
It shouldn't be banned but i think they should limit the amount of people that goes there and supervise them. Also the amount that humans have changed throughout their time in Antarctica is massive considering all of the circumstances. they leave rubbish and scare the animals i think that as no one owns Antarctica you cant ban people nor can you filter them but it should be brought tho the company's that set up cruises what damage they and the tourists are doing. no it shouldn't imagine all the fuel which we would take and how dangerous it would be
