King Tutankhamun was married at an early aged because Egyptians wanted to reproduce or keep the series of children from Kings and Queens from that family ruling and in power of Egypt. That in itself was a wise choice even if it wasn't intentional because King "Tut" passed at a failry young age. We don't really know mabey the time of age for marriage has changed between the period of years from then to now. and evidently will change as years pass everything changes whether we choose to change it or not. it just happens.
Tutankahmun was a rich and powerful ruler. Now, he would be worth $ 130,000,000 at least. His powers were in his faith. He believed in fresh starts and hopeful endings. The people of Egypt called him the 'precious ruby king.' He was always dutied to keep the kingdom safe from bad enemies.

Originally Howard Carter discovered the tomb. However, Lord Carnarvon paid Howard a few bob to keep it quiet so that he could say that he discovered it. King Tutankhamen was discovered by Howard Carter in 1922. Carter found him in the valley of the kings and his search was financed by lord Carnarvon. When the expedition began, they found many workmen's huts and under the first hut they discovered stone steps going down. Those steps would soon lead to the tomb of the boy king!
