Why should you believe answers on WikiAnswers that look like they are made up?

Sometimes, answers are given by those who are not serious and actually want to give bad or silly answers. Those people are called vandals. They are usually easy to distinguish from good, serious answers given by those who choose to elaborate their answers with specifics and when appropriate, proven data.

Yes, I believe it should. If WikiAnswers did make a WikiDebate.com then subjects wouldn't have to be shutdown like they do on WikiAnswers.com.

I do not use Answerbag in addition to WikiAnswers. Answerbag is much like Yahoo! Answers, and has the same quality flaws as Yahoo! Answers. The answers are as-is, while WikiAnswers has an answer being worked on by hundreds of contributors until the answer is perfect.
