I have to say that I am not an expert, but I do have my opinion.
I think that baptism should happen later(instead of infant baptism) because that is when they actually know what the correct choice is.
You can be any age at baptism. Mostly it is babies that are baptised, but it can be children or adults who are baptised too. So there is no set age for baptism.
You don't have to be a certain age for baptism, babies to elderly people get baptised
any age
There isn't a definite age that Christians are baptized. In some denominations, they are baptized as babies. In others, they are baptized usually around high school age, but are not limited to that age. For Christians who are baptized later and not as babies, it is a matter of personal decision, each person has a different time that they feel 'ready' to be baptized and declare their faith.
To calculate percentage delay using the DAYC2 assessment, first determine the child's developmental age based on the assessment results. Next, compare this age to their chronological age. The percentage delay is calculated by taking the difference between the chronological age and the developmental age, dividing it by the chronological age, and then multiplying by 100. This formula helps quantify the degree of developmental delay in relation to the child's age.
A 7th grader should have received the sacraments of baptism, communion and confirmation. these sacraments are usually received by age 14.
The logical age for baptism would be at about 18, when the person has fully learned and thought about what religion is and means. Of course many who believe in infant baptism have their children baptised soon after birth. This has to with their beliefs about baptism. Others, as stated above, are baptised when they reach the 'age of accountability' which is not specified specifically in the Bible and will vary according to the person. I believe there is no "designated" age. When someone is to be baptized it should be when they know what they are doing and do it willingly.
Confirmation is the second half of baptism, it completes one's initiation into Christianity. It can be celebrated anytime after Baptism, in most of the Rites, it is celebrated immediately with baptism, in the Latin Rite, it has be separated and is usually given after the age of 12, the exact age is up to the local Bishop.
