Personally I dont believe in God (which by the way should be capitalized) because I enjoy learning about different religions, I attend various religious services. There is no reason you should go to church on the other hand, they only reason should be because you enjoy to :)

Why do people believe in the Bible?

Catholic AnswerThe Bible contains the Word of God in the words of God, so as we believe in God, we believe in His Word. The Bible has been written and guaranteed by the Church, so we accept it as such. ===general answer===John 1:1 (NKJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.So if you believe in God then you believe in the Word of God. And if someone does follow a certain denomination, it is always best to follow what is taught to them according to their church. If they do not follow a certain denomination and wants to learn about the Word of God then they should search for a local church and keep seeking until they are satisfied with what they are being taught.
