USB sticks also called flash drives are a small rectangle of computer memory. Magnets reset or wipe all information on computer memory.
No, but there are strong magnets inside the Hard Drive, but they are not electromangets.Video - HDD Magnets:http://www.metacafe.com/watch/375515/strong_magnet_in_your_hard_disk/
On my computer, there is a small slot that says MMC/SD over it. It should be near wear you insert a CD and next to wear you plug in a flash drive.
I dont think that leaving water, or small children near a computer is a good idea.
A magnet damages the Hard Disk Drive of the computer dramatically. Because a hard drive's hardware is a magnetic disk drive so the data get written magnetically to the disk. If the magnetic properties are reduced then your data goes with it. So dont ever put a magnet near a computer :)
Urban myth is it disrupts the data, it doesnt.
For reference: http://msn.pcworld.com/article/id,11...1/article.html The magnet on a case will not affect an iPhone SIM card, except where Apple has said that it can affect the performance of the antenna near the mic/speaker. It will not damage your iPhone. Apple conveyed that a magnet located near the bottom of the phone (near the mic and speaker) could interfere with reception (as in receiving a call). There's no way it could affect those parts in any permanent way. Also, magnets do NOT affect flash memory in any way. Magnets should NOT be used on cases for hard drive style iPods because it CAN affect the data on those drives, but not the other hardware components.
It should not be kept near mobile phones because it can erase the information on your phone, the magnet can damage the mobile phone
creates magnetic force
Nope. It should point that way all the time unless you put a magnet near it and cause the needle to follow that magnet.
When some pieces of plastics are brought near the magnet, they will get attracted.
It would stick to the magnet....
yes depends on what type of headphones and how strong the magnet is .
