If you rush the town hall, you probably aren't leveling up all of your spells, defenses, walls, and troops.
Your game will start becoming unbalanced. You will have new items, but you will not be able to fend off higher level invaders, because everything you have will be weak. You will start to get your butt handed to you on a regular basis. Your trophy level will plummet.
It is better to max out all of your stuff before leveling up and getting more. It is more controlled, and you will have a more solid game. You'll suffer fewer serious defeats.

∙ 9y agoOne person's opinion is that the reason that you should not rush with upgrading your Town Hall to the next level is because it will leave your village at a disadvantage with your defenses (such as Cannons, Mortars and Wizard Towers) being at a disadvantage due to not being powerful enough to defend against attacks since they weren't being upgraded enough.
