If you were to buy solar panels right now, you would be required to pay a certain amount of money for them, but, because of this certain United States tax incentive policy, you would actually be paying only a fraction of this cost. This policy encourages people to adopt the technology of solar panels now by giving a tax credit of 30-65% on solar panels, which means you would subtract 30-65% of the cost of the solar panels from your taxes. For example, some of the solar panels might cost $3,000. Let us say your tax credit was 50%, or $1,500. You would then subtract $1,500 away from your taxes, so the solar panels would really only cost $1,500.

The electricity and power rates in America are really increasing quickly- in fact, sources say that they are increasing at the huge number of 6.5% per year on average. This is because of the rising costs for fuel, and many other things. Among those "other things", solar energy is not included in them, because the source, the sun's light, is absolutely free after the initial installation, which is inefficient and expensive. America relies on oil and gas sources from several foreign counties.
