You don't have to be a cirtain age to start using tampons. You can start when you feel comfortable enough to use them. You don't even have to use tampons at all if you dont want to.
:) xx
Young girls can use tampons during menstruation, but it's not recommended.
The reasons why tampons aren't recommended to younger women;
It's best for young women to stick with pads to begin with and then consider using safer options internal options such as menstrual cups or softcups which not only carry no health risks but are also more convenient and reliable than tampons.
There is no specific age for using tampons, but they aren't recommended for pre-teens or teens.
Younger women are at significantly higher risk of contracting Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) because their vaginal tissues are more delicate so more likely to tear (allowing TSST-1 toxins responsible for TSS access to the bloodstream), and less likely to have TSST-1 antibodies than older women.
Younger women also may not be mature enough to understand the risks of tampon use to make a choice to use tampons over other options such as pads or menstrual cups, and may not be responsible enough to follow precautions in order to reduce their risks of TSS and infections.
At very least young women should wait around six cycles before using tampons, this is so that the women know their flow pattern well enough to know what absorbency to use safely.
There's no reason why you should use tampons for your period.
There are lots of options for dealing with your periods: pads, tampons, menstrual cups, softcups, free bleeding, menstrual release, etc. Whether you use tampons or not is up to you but there is no reason to ever use tampons if you don't want to, many women never use tampons.
Its best to look at all your options and decide what works best for you.
There is absolutely nothing saying that you 'should' use tampons at this age or at all. In fact tampons are not recommended to pre-teens or young teens given higher risk of developing Toxic Shock Syndrome. A person can use tampons but they can also use pads or menstrual cups instead.
to stop the bleeding when a girl is having her period
since your age is young you might should get tampons so at school you can get to your classes on time
So you can stop the bleeding on getting to your pants and easy to put on
You can use anything you like - pads, tampons, cup -- with your period after stopping depo provera.
No, tampons should only be used when you're on your period. Never use when not menstruating as this will be uncomfortable and potentially increase your risk of contracting Toxic Shock Syndrome. There's absolutely no reason to use tampons when not on your period, having a massage makes no difference: there's no reason why you should need to use tampons while having a massage.
Use tampons :)
You should start using tampons as soon as you are comfortable with your period as well as your pads. If you are a swimmer, athlete etc. you should try tampons cause you can go underwater. To use a tampon varies w/ different people.
You should write down the date so you can track it, and use either feminine pads, or tampons.
You don't have to use tampons to swim while on your period. You can use menstrual cups and softcups for swimming, as well as safer than tampons cups can be worn with light flow which tampons can't, menstrual cups also don't leak like other options. You can also simply sit-out of swimming while you're on your period, it's up to you what you use and what you do on your period.
You don't, you should only ever use tampons when menstruating.Tampons are not hygienic or healthy so they should be avoided when at all possible, if you do use tampons you only use them during menstruation. You shouldn't use tampons when not menstruating or even with light flow, with less blood tampons will absorb more vaginal discharge resulting in splitting and ulceration in the vaginal walls so higher risk of TSS.
No
If you're using tampons, then you should use them often when you're dancing and just wear what you want after. But, if you don't use tampons I would suggest using an Always Infinnity pad.
tampons if you are swimming etc but if in the bath, nothing :)
There's nothing to say that you should use tampons full-stop, you have other options you can use instead. Jr tampons are light absorbency tampons, only named jr tampons in the US to try to encourage young women to use tampons earlier in order for tampon companies to increase product loyalty early. If you do use tampons you should always use lowest absorbency for your flow, if that means using jr tampons then those are the ones that you will use.
No, tampons and pads (also other menstrual products) are only needed on your period.Once your period is over you no longer use tampons or pads, in fact as your period comes to an end you need to stop using tampons because tampons cannot be used with light flow or spotting. It is a good idea to carry tampons and pads with you ready for when your next period starts, if you're young menstrual cycles can be irregular so your periods can start suddenly without warning.
