No, it should not be OK to buy guns for their children. It's not OK because it could encourage children to play with real guns. Or they could pick up a real gun and think it's fake and might actually kill someone. It would turn out badly because there are some extremely violent children and parents don't care at all. They might grow up and kill someone with a real gun and get addicted.
These fake toys could be very dangerous because kids could be play some violent games and get addicted to the characters style and want to use the style in real life with these fake guns, and later when they grow up, they might want to use real guns and kill people. Kids might go up to strangers and point the toy gun up at them and get kidnapped.
